In order to create a modern, responsive, and representative governance structure, the Greater Los Angeles REALTORS® Board of Directors is proposing a round of revisions to the organization’s Bylaws.

 

These revisions mostly pertain to the selection of members of the Nominating Committee and to the selection process for association Directors, and include minor technical updates to align the Bylaws with C.A.R., NAR, and applicable state requirements. The overarching goal of these changes is to create a more inclusive process in which more voices are heard in the selection of the Association’s leadership.

 

These revisions will be put to a member vote on Thursday, May 21st during a virtual membership meeting.

 

REALTOR® Members, both primary and secondary in good standing will have the opportunity to review the proposed changes and ask questions during two virtual member town halls:

Redlined versions of the bylaws and the proposed changes approved for consideration by the Board will be posted to the  association’s website for review up to and through the May 21st member meeting.
